Which WhatsApp store app is right for you?
Apps that help you sell on WhatsApp come in three kinds. Each one fits a different way of taking orders and getting paid.
| WhatsApp Business catalog | Full store builder | Store link (wastore.shop) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What customers see | Your products inside WhatsApp | A website or app with its own checkout | A store page that opens in any browser |
| Order total | You work it out in the chat | Calculated at checkout | Calculated and sent in one message |
| Payment | You arrange it in the chat | Online checkout through payment partners | You are paid your way, with no gateway to set up |
| Fees on orders | None | Varies by tool | None from us |
| Time to set up | Minutes | Hours to days | Minutes |
| Best for | A handful of products | Selling that needs online payments and shipping | Small sellers who settle things in chat |
Features of other apps change over time. This comparison reflects how they work at the time of writing.
A WhatsApp Business catalog
Free and built into the app. A good start when you have a few products and every customer is on WhatsApp.
A full store builder
Tools such as Dukaan or Shopify give you a complete shop with payments and shipping. A good fit when you need online checkout.
A store link that sends orders to chat
A middle way: a real store page with options and totals, while payment and delivery stay in your chat.
- One link that works on Instagram, Google and in chats
- Orders arrive as one clear message
- No payment setup and no fee on orders
How to choose
Start from how you get paid today.
- A few products and every customer already on WhatsApp: a catalog is enough
- You need card payments and shipping: a full store builder
- You want a shareable page without payment setup: a store link
